2|inspect Use Cases
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE FOR OPTICAL QUALITY INSPECTION
ASSEMBLY ASSISTANCE
2|inspect checks the correctness of individual assembly steps and provides support during reworking.
During assembly, 2|inspect checks the correct selection and fit of all individual parts. If an error is detected, the software guides the worker through the rework and documents the assembly result.
Mobile testing of larger components in production
The mobile device's internal camera is used to inspect an object. The 2|inspect system runs as a mobile inspection solution on the Windows tablet and allows the inspector to determine the completeness and correctness of the inspection points on the assembled object on the shop floor.
Batch inspection at the workplace
To equip an inspection workstation for batch inspection with 2|inspect, all you need is a Windows PC and a USB-capable camera or microscope. The software supports you with a workflow specially optimized for batch inspection.
The software can check objects for presence, correctness and completeness. This makes it particularly suitable for assembly control in mechanical and electrical engineering. For example, it recognizes whether screws, washers and rivets have been placed correctly. It can also check whether electrical modules are connected correctly and whether dip switches are in the desired position.
